Checked my 2009 average MPG on MyMileMarker.com: 32.2 MPG. Distance I drive @gfitzp to work? Also almost 32.2 miles exactly. Weird!
Also, this morning I saw a MINI just like me, but minus the rear fog lights. Almost a doppelgänger! Nice to see the other driver wave back.

Today I’ve been on the road for 1 full year! Passed 26,000 miles today too; that’s about 71 miles/day, every day.

Hm. Bird poop is mostly gone but some traces still remain. Guess I’ll have to visit the hand-wash car boutique soon…
Car wash time! :) Looks like a bird visited Taco Bell, and then decided to relieve itself all over my bonnet. :( a quick clean will be good.
Guess this means no more tigers are going to be getting into my tank. :( That won’t stop my engine from purring, though!
Apparently I was registering some minor faults for high ethanol content?? Apparently Exxon changed to 10% +/- 2% ethanol, & I hate 15+%.
Sounds like I gotta stick to Shell V-Power from now on: the service writer tells me it’ll never be higher than 10% ethanol there.
Getting my oil change, filter changed, tires rotated…

Got gas tonight at the slowest gas pump ever. Ugh. It stopped after only 3 gallons!
This is why I’m awesome: saw a party bus tonight on I-95, pulled alongside and waved at the girls inside and they noticed and waved back. :)

Coworker just told me she bought herself a used MINI this past weekend, hooray!
Need to get my tires rotated: I try to every 6000 miles, but I’m 2000 miles overdue. Time to stop being lazy and go to my pal’s tire shop!
Commute so slow this morning, and somebody almost merged across their merge lane and two thru lanes into me. Thanks snow! :P

Stuck on I-97 about .5 mile after Rt 50, looks like an accident just happened ahead. Lots of rescue response on scene!

Thank goodness for heated seats! 16 degrees F!

Owner’s Lounge says my car is at the dealer! I hope I get it today!
Estimated delivery date changed on the Owner’s Lounge to 8/1/2008! MA said that it’s unlikely I’ll take delivery tomorrow, but I can hope!

Missing: black bonnet stripes, roof and mirror caps. Not *that* big of a deal, but just enough of a difference to be irksome.
Got my new MINI credit card in the mail to match the new car (www.4myminicard.com), but it’s slightly inaccurate. Am debating complaining.
